Idea and motivation

The “House in the Service of People” project was created from the real experiences of people with disabilities. On a daily basis, we see that formally available solutions often do not provide safety, predictability, or independence.

By building a house from scratch, we can shape the space without compromises and without later adaptations. Every solution is designed, tested, and improved in practice – in the spirit of the Living Lab approach.

HoMerge is not just a house. It is a model for designing accessible spaces that we want to disseminate in cooperation with technology partners, architects, and public institutions.
